Generate correctly formatted citations and reference-list entries across supported citation styles from a source's details or a pasted URL, DOI or ISBN.
Who it helps: Anyone assembling a bibliography who wants formatting and ordering handled for them.
Reference Checker
Paste a reference list and StudyRef reviews it for possible formatting or metadata issues — missing dates, malformed DOIs, capitalisation slips and more.

Word Analyzer
Analyse assignment text to understand your word count — excluding headings, quotes and the reference list where supported — plus reading time and writing warnings.
Who it helps: Anyone writing to a word limit who needs the count that actually counts.
AI writing-concision tools
For eligible Pro users, StudyRef can suggest more concise wording while preserving the intended meaning. Suggestions are optional — you review every one, and you remain fully responsible for the work you submit.
